About Zhangye National Geopark
The Zhangye National Geopark is situated in Sunan and Linze districts inside the prefecture- level city of Zhangye, in Zhangye, China. It covers a zone of 322 square kilometres. The site turned into a semi national geopark on April 23, 2012. It was formally assigned as "Zhangye National Geopark" by the Ministry of Land and Resources on June 16, 2016 after it has breezed through the on location acknowledgment test. Known for its brilliant shake developments, it has been casted a ballot by Chinese media outlets as a standout amongst the most wonderful landforms in China.
The recreation center is situated in the northern lower regions of the Qilian Mountains, in the districts of Linze and Sunan, which are under the organization of the prefecture-level city of Zhangye, Gansu territory. The primary territories of Danxia landform are in Kangle and Baiyin townships. The center zone of the recreation center, Linze Danxia Scenic Area, is found 30 kilometers west of downtown Zhangye and 20 kilometers south of the seat of Linze County. It is the most created and most visited piece of the park. A second beautiful region, Binggou, located on the north bank of Liyuan River, was authoritatively introduced on 3 August 2014.
