About Yumen Pass
Yumen Pass, or Jade Gate or Pass of the Jade Gate, is the name of a go of the Great Wall found west of Dunhuang in the present Gansu Province of China. Amid the Han tradition 202 BC - AD 220, this was a go through which the Silk Road passed, and was the one street associating Central Asia and China, the previous called the Western Regions. Just toward the south was the Yangguan pass, which was additionally an essential point on the Silk Road.
Despite the fact that the Chinese guan is generally deciphered just as "pass", its more explicit importance is a "wilderness go" to recognize it from a customary go through the mountains. These were the two most well known passes prompting the north and west from Chinese territory. It isn't to be mistaken for the city Yumen in Gansu, China.
