Taixing

Taixing is an area level city under the organization of Taizhou, Jiangsu region, China. It is situated in the Yangtze River Delta, flanking the prefecture to level urban communities of Nantong toward the east, Changzhou toward the southwest, and Zhenjiang toward the west. The southern Hailin district was removed to make Taixing in 938, it was administated by Taizhou. It was under the ward of Yangzhou amid the period of Yuan and Ming, however was exchanged to Tongzhou later.

It was come back to Yangzhou in 1953, and turned into a district level city in 1992. It was moved to Taizhou in 1996. Zhong'anlun Monument is a remembrance landmark devoted to the casualties of the Yangtze ship fiasco that happened in October 1945, amid the Chinese Civil War. Opened in October 1987, it is situated in the Taixing Park on the north side of Taixing City in Taizhou, Jiangsu region.
