About Suzhou Creek
Suzhou Creek, additionally called Wusong River, is a waterway that goes through the Shanghai downtown area. It is named after the neighboring city of Suzhou, Jiangsu, the dominating settlement around there preceding the ascent of Shanghai as a metropolis.
It streams into the Huangpu River at the northern end of the Bund in Huangpu District.
One of the central outlets of Lake Tai in Wujiang District of Suzhou, Suzhou Creek is 125 km 78 mi long, of which 54 km are inside the managerial area of Shanghai and 24 km inside the city's exceedingly urbanized parts.
