Shandong

Shandong is a beach front region of the People's Republic of China, and is a piece of the East China area. Shandong has assumed a noteworthy job in Chinese history from the earliest starting point of Chinese human advancement along the lower scopes of the Yellow River and filled in as a urgent social and religious site for Taoism, Chinese Buddhism, and Confucianism. Shandong's Mount Tai is the most loved pile of Taoism and one of the world's destinations with the longest history of persistent religious love. The Buddhist sanctuaries in the mountains toward the south of the commonplace capital of Jinan were once among the chief Buddhist destinations in China.

The city of Qufu is the origin of Confucius, and was later settled as the focal point of Confucianism. Shandong has developed as a standout amongst the most crowded and most prosperous territories in the People's Republic of China. Shandong is a piece of the Eastern Block of the North China craton. Starting in the Mesozoic, Shandong has experienced a crustal diminishing that is unordinary for a craton and that has lessened the thickness of the outside from 200 km. Some geographical developments in Shandong are wealthy in fossils. For instance, Zhucheng, which is situated in southeastern Shandong, has been the site of numerous disclosures of dinosaur fossils.
