About Qingan Guildhall

Qing'an Guildhall is a historical center situated in Yinzhou District in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. It is situated in the Qing'an Guildhall, a reproduced complex which once housed a sanctuary to the ocean goddess Mazu. Initially implicit 1191, the complex was wrecked and reconstructed a few times. The west-bound complex spreads 5,000 square meters and comprises, from front to back, of the Entrance, Second Door, Front Stage, Great Hall, Rear Stages, and Rear Chamber.
The second entryway, having been obliterated amid the Cultural Revolution, was reproduced from authentic illustrations held by Southeast University. The front stage is 9.5 meters high, 5.2 meters wide, and about as profound, being generally square. By setting it before the fundamental corridor, it was imagined that the divine beings could appreciate viewing the musical drama appears.
The museum gathers provincial craftsmanship concerning Mazu, including expansive frescos. Its maritime shows incorporate the wooden guiding wheel recuperated from the disaster area of the SS Jiangya, which struck a mine close to the mouth of the Huangpu River in 1948 as Shanghainese were escaping to Ningbo from the approaching Communists.
