About Qiandao Lake
Qiandao Lake, a human-made, freshwater lake situated in Chun'an County, Zhejiang Province, China, was shaped after the fulfillment of the Xin'an River hydroelectric station in 1959. The valley was overwhelmed in 1959 to make the lake for the Xin'an River Dam project. Submerged in the lake, at the foot of Wu Shi Mountain, lies an antiquated city known as Shi Cheng. It was worked amid the Eastern Han Dynasty and was first set up as a region in AD 208. The city gained its name from close-by Wu Shi Mountain, which is presently known as Wu Shi Island since it excessively turned out to be in part submerged by the store.
