Nanjing Municipal Museum

Two kilometers 1.24mi from Nanjing downtown area, Chaotian Palace is the most noteworthy review, biggest scale and the best-protected antiquated complex in South China with an aggregate region of around 40,000m2 47,840sq yd.

Its name, Chaotian, which means love the divine beings and the name was given by the establishing ruler of Ming Dynasty 1368 - 1644 AD, Zhu Yuanzhang.

The Chaotian Palace is presently the site of the Nanjing Municipal Museum.In 1978, Nanjing Municipal Museum was set up in the royal residence, with a gathering of more than 80,000 things.
