About Lingyan Temple
Lingyan Temple is a Buddhist sanctuary situated in Changqing District, Jinan, Shandong Province, China, around 20 kilometers 12 mi north of the city of Taian. The sanctuary grounds are arranged in a valley on the western edge of the Taishan extend. The Lingyan Temple has a since quite a while ago written history, and was one of the principle sanctuaries in China amid the seasons of the Tang and Song Dynasties. The first sanctuary was set up in the Yongxing rule period 357– 358, amid the rule of Fu Jian r. 357– 385 of the Former Qin state.
