About Lianyungang
Lianyungang is a prefecture-level city in northeastern Jiangsu region, China. It is one of the most beautiful city to visit or go on the holiday. Its name gets from Lian Island formally Dongxilian Island the greatest island in Jiangsu Province which lies off its coastline, and Yuntai Mountain Jiangsu, the most raised peak in Jiangsu Province, two or three miles from the town center, and how it is a port. Lianyungang as Yuntai Mountain was alluded to in the West as Haichow Wade– Giles romanization.
Haichow was purposefully opened to remote trade by the Qing illustrious government in 1905. Lianyungang is the eastern end of the Longhai Railway in the past the Lunghai Railway, interfacing it with Lanzhou in central China. It is at present the eastern end of the New Eurasian Land Bridge and the proposed Northern East West Freight Corridor.
