About Leifeng Pagoda

Leifeng Pagoda is a five tales tall tower with 8 facets, placed on Sunset Hill of the West Lake in Hangzhou, China. Originally built in the year AD 975, it collapsed in 1924 but was rebuilt in 2002. Since then it has been a famous vacationer appeal. The original pagoda turned into constructed in 975 AD, all through Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms length, on the order of King Qian Chu of Wuyue. The Leifeng Pagoda become an octagonal, 5-story shape constructed of brick and timber and with a base constructed out of bricks. During the Ming dynasty, Japanese pirates attacked Hangzhou.
