About Huaiyin
Huai'an, formerly known as Huaiyin till 2001, is a prefecture-stage metropolis in relevant Jiangsu province of Eastern China. It borders Lianyungang, Suqian to the northwest, Yancheng to the northeast, Yangzhou to the southeast, and Chuzhou to the southwest. As of the 2010 census the municipality had 4,799,889 inhabitants, of whom 2,494,013 lived in the 4 urban districts. The area of Huai'an spans an ancient canal of the Huai River, and the call of Huai'an expresses the residents' desire for a lastingly non violent Huai River.
The borough region had been properly developed, and led China in convenience of transportation and irrigation. The Gangou Drain linked the Yangtze River and the Huai River delta location. The Qian Road and Shan Road that traversed the place reached Southern and Northern China. Thus, Huaiyin turned into a essential location for numerous robust states within the Spring and Autumn period. The area turned into occupied via the Wu, Yue and Chu states, one after some other.
