About Haimen
Haimen is an area level city under the organization of Nantong, Jiangsu region, with a populace of around 1 million. It is situated at the contrary side of the Yangtze River to Shanghai and is specifically north of Chongming Island aside from a little segment that frames Haimen City's Haiyong Township. Haimen is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Haimen. The region that is currently Haimen was framed from sediment stores from the Yangtze River. In 958 CE, amid the Later Zhou tradition in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, Haimen County was set up with the area situate at Dongzhou Town. Since the mouth of the Yangtze River moved northward amid the Ming tradition, Haimen has managed flooding that obliterated parts of the region, including Lusi, Yudong, and Sijia. In 1672, under the Kangxi Emperor of the Qing line, the seat moved to Jinghai Township. Starting from 1701, the stream's course moved south, making in excess of 40 new sandbanks. In 1768, the region turned into an autonomous subprefecture with the seat moving to Maojia Town.
