About Fushun War Criminals Management Centre

Fushun War Criminals Management Center otherwise called Liaodong No. 3 Prison or Liaoning No. 3 Prison, was the site of the re-training of Manchukuo, Kuomintang and Japanese detainees of war, held by China from 1950 onwards. It was situated in the Xinfu District, Fushun, Liaoning. Among the prisoners were Puyi, the last head of China and previous manikin sovereign of Manchukuo, his more youthful sibling Pujie and a few other imperative World War II figures, for example, Xi Qia, Zang Shiyi and Zhang Jinghui. Some portion of the jail site stays being used, however, the more established segment has been transformed into a gallery delineating the historical backdrop of Fushun war offender’s administration focus and the life of the general population who worked or were interned there.

The jail was initially built in 1936 by the involving Japanese. Toward the finish of World War II, the USSR had invade the Japanese manikin province of Manchukuo and caught huge numbers of its administration individuals and military faculty, both Chinese and Japanese. These detainees were held close Khabarovsk Boli in the Russian Far East. Liaodong No. 3 jail, on the northern edge of Fushun city, was chosen for transformation into the War Criminals Management Center. Fushun is an exceptionally industrialized zone and initially called City of Coal.
