About Five Pagoda Temple
The Five Pagoda Temple is a Buddhist sanctuary in the city of Hohhot in Inner Mongolia in north-west China. It is situated in the more established piece of the city in the region of Qingcheng Park. The development of the pagoda by the Mongol priest Yangcarci started in 1727 and was finished in 1732. The stupa, which is arranged at the northernmost piece of the sanctuary complex, is surmounted by five pagodas and has 1,563 pictures of buddhas cut into its dividers every one contrasting marginally from the other.
The portrayal of the universe as indicated by Buddhist cosmology center, and an uncommon Mongolian cosmological guide, which represents the zodiac and places of ious stars. It is the main such guide found yet in China from this era. It isn't clear how the building style of the "Precious stone Throne Pagoda" of the Mahabodhi Temple was acquainted with China. According to one custom, the plan was introduced to the magnificent court by the high-positioning Indian priest Pandida amid the reign of the Yongle Emperor in the mid-fifteenth century. Besides the outlines for the precious stone royal position pagoda, the priest is said to have carried with him five brilliant Buddha statues.
