About Five Dragon Pool
The Five Dragon Pool is a socially critical lake nourished by artesian karst springs in the city of Jinan, Shandong Province, China. It is outstanding amongst other known springs among the 72 popular springs of Jinan. The spring that provisions the water for the Five Dragon Pool has a place with a gathering of springs that likewise contains 28 different springs, for example, the Tianjing Spring, Seventy-three Spring, Ximizhi Spring, Dongmizhi Spring, Yueya Spring, Jing Spring, and the Congming Spring. Legend connects the Five Dragon Pool to the Tang Dynasty general Qin Shubao, whose habitation is said to have remained at the site. As per the legend, the spring pool framed after heavy rains that submersed Qin Shubao's home. In 1985, the Five Dragon Pool Public Park was built up and the garden scene encompassing the springs was reestablished. The Five Dragon Pool is situated toward the west of the authentic downtown area of Jinan and toward the north of the Baotu Spring.
