About Daxingshan Temple
Daxingshan Temple is a Buddhist temple situated in Yanta District of Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. The temple had achieved uncommon prime in the Tang administration 618– 907, when Subhakarasiha, Vajrabodhi and Amoghavajra showed Chinese Esoteric Buddhism in the temple, known as the "Three Prominent Buddhist Monks in the Kaiyuan Period". At that point Japanese Buddhist priests Ennin and Enchin acquainted it with Japan, from that point forward, Daxingshan Temple turned into the support of Chinese Esoteric Buddhism. Daxingshan Temple, Daci'en Temple and Jianfu Temple turned into the three sutras interpretation destinations in the Tang tradition.
Daxingshan Temple was totally harmed in the Great Anti-Buddhist Persecution, after the fall of the Tang tradition in 907, most parts of the temple were destroyed in wars and cataclysmic events, and step by step it wound up obscure to open. Backup structures were based on the two sides of the focal hub including the Drum Tower, Bell Tower, Ksitigarbha Hall, and Manjusri Hall.
