About Dacien Temple
Dacien Temple is a Buddhist temple situated in the Yanta District of Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. The temple is the support of East Asian Yogacara in China. It is outstanding for the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. The pagoda was initially worked by a practiced priest Xuanzang, whose story was far reaching in common socity in numerous traditions and the acclaimed unbelievable story Journey toward the West was motivated by his experience. Alongside Daxingshan Temple and Jianfu Temple, it was one of the three sutras interpretation destinations in the Tang dynasty.
The complex incorporate the accompanying corridors: Shanmen, Mahavira Hall, Hall of Four Heavenly Kings, Bell tower, Drum tower, Buddhist Texts Library, Xuanzang Sanzang Hall, Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, Pagodas Forest, and so on. The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda was worked by Xuanzang in 652. It has been revamped and refurbished a few times since the Tang administration 618– 907. The Mahavira Hall cherishing statues of Vairocana, Mahavairocana and Sakyamuni. The two supporters' statues are set before the statue of Sakyamuni, the more established is called Kassapa Buddha and the moderately aged is called Ananda. The statues of 18 Arhats sitting on the seats previously the two sides of the peak dividers.
