About China Nanjing Yunjin Museum
Yunjin is the main silk material still handcrafted and its creation can't be supplanted with present day machines, as per Wang Baolin, caretaker of Nanjing Yunjin Museum and executive of the Nanjing Yunjin Research Institute.
The Chinese convention of weaving Nanjing Yunjin requires two craftspeople to work the upper and lower parts of a muddled linger 5.6 meters in length, 1.4m wide and 4m high.
They fuse rich materials, for example, gold, silk and peacock quill yarn. Safeguarded in Nanjing, in East China's Jiangsu territory, the technique involves more than 100 methodology, including drafting designs, making Jacquard cards for programming weaving designs, dressing the linger and numerous phases of weaving itself.
