About Baisui Palace
Baisui Palace is a Buddhist sanctuary situated on the highest point of Chaxiao Peak, in Chizhou, Anhui, China. Over the course of 400 years, the sanctuary was wrecked and modified a few times, because of war and cataclysmic events. Nearby Zhiyuan Temple, Dongyan Chan Temple and Ganlu Temple, it was adored as one of the "Four Great Buddhist Temples in Mount Jiuhua". The sanctuary was first worked in the Wanli time frame 1573– 1620 of the Ming line 1368– 1644 by priest Haiyu , who all the more usually known as "Ace Wuxia". The sanctuary experienced five redesigns in the entire Qing administration 1644– 1911. In 1717 in the rule of Kangxi Emperor 1662– 1722, a sad fire expended the sanctuary, and it was reestablished in 1721 by abbot Sancheng.
It was repaired and redesigned in 1814 and 1826 individually. In 1853, in the decision of Xianfeng Emperor, the vast majority of the sanctuary structures were pulverized amid the war between the Taiping Rebellion of the Qing armed force. Some portion of the sanctuary was decimated by flame in the late Guangxu period 1875– 1908. The mummy of Haiyu, gold seal, jade seal endure. The sanctuary possesses a building region of 2,987-square-meter 32,150 sq ft. The current principle structures incorporate the Shanmen, Mahavira Hall, Body Hall, Dining Hall, storage facility, and priest's House.
