About Anyang
Anyang is a prefecture-level city in Henan district, China. The northernmost city in Henan, Anyang edges Puyang toward the east, Hebi and Xinxiang toward the south, and the zones of Shanxi and Hebei to its west and north exclusively. Xiaonanhai, on the far western edge of the city, was home to old give in tenants amidst the Stone Age. More than 7,000 relics checking stone instruments and creature bone fossils have been uncovered here, tending to what has been named the Xiaonanhai culture.
The town was known as Zhangde until 1912, when it was given its present name of Anyang, following the foundation of the Republic of China. In August 1949, Anyang prefecture was withdrawn from Henan and – close by Puyang and Xinxiang – concentrated on the short exploratory locale of Pingyuan by the decision Communist government.
