About William Hawrelak Park
William Hawrelak Park is a 68 hectare stop in the stream valley including a 5 hectare lake and open lush territories. The recreation center has a few noteworthy celebrations and occasions consistently and is an awesome area for all Edmontonians and guests to investigate. Similarly as with all City of Edmonton Parks, the recreation center is available to people in general from 5am-11pm, 365 days a year.
The recreation center has walking– climbing trails around the border which can be utilized for cross-country skiing in the winter. There are cookout destinations, a play area, and even shoreline volleyball nets nearby. A significant number of the excursion destinations include fire pits. The recreation center facilitated the Bright Nights Festival around Christmas. In December 2016 and 2017, the recreation center played host to the Silver Skate Festival, which included an ice manor and other open air winter exercises.
