About Whitehorse
Whitehorse is the capital and just city of Yukon, and the biggest city in northern Canada. It was joined in 1950 and is situated at kilometer 1426 on the Alaska Highway in southern Yukon. Whitehorse's downtown and Riverdale territories involve the two shores of the Yukon River, which begins in British Columbia and meets the Bering Sea in Alaska. The city was named after the White Horse Rapids for their likeness to the mane of a white steed, close Miles Canyon, before the waterway was dammed.
In light of the city's area in the Whitehorse valley, the atmosphere is milder than practically identical northern networks, for example, Yellowknife. At this scope winter days are short and summer days have up to around 19 hours of daylight. Whitehorse, as revealed by Guinness World Records, is the city with the minimum air contamination in the world.
