Westminster Abbey

These were exhibited for the utilization of the King and Queen and devoted at the Dominion Day benefit on 1 July 1949.

The seats are constantly utilized by The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh when they go to Abbey administrations or by different individuals from the Royal Family if The Queen or Duke are absent.

They are put in the Sacrarium on the south side of the sacrificial stone or in the south lamp territory at an administration. At the point when not being used they are kept in St Edward the Confessor's house of prayer.

They are of Canadian birch, cleaned and recolored with trimming in shined gold, and were planned by Sebastian Comper.
