Upper Town

The stylish Upper Town of Ottawa is well known for its beauty among locals and visitors, it stretches out underneath Parliament Hill and southwest of the Rideau Canal. The lanes are laid out in a checkerboard design. the famous upper town occupied avenues are Wellington Street, Kent Street, O'Connor Street, Metcalfe Street, and Spark Street person on foot area - a string of best retail establishments and savvy boutiques sprinkled with gourmet restaurants.

However, presumably the most striking engineering of Upper Town is the Bank of Canada working, by the celebrated designer Arthur Erickson. The chamber behind the twelve-story tinted glass facade has the inclination less of a bank but rather more of an extraordinary nursery, with gems, plants the tallness of trees, and sprinkling wellsprings.
