About Tooth of Time
Elora's historic point. The principal connect over the Grand River should utilize this as a wharf yet Elora Council vetoed this arrangement. In 1927 the "Islet Rock" was secured with a steel rail at the point and the stone was looked with concrete, with trust that it would keep going forever amidst the Grand River.
This is the beginning stage of the acclaimed "Elora Gorge". Flagging the beginning of the Elora Gorge, a smaller than expected gulch along the Grand River, the Tooth of Time is a stone that opposed disintegration. It is currently sustained by concrete on its upstream side to anticipate future collapse.
The energy of the Grand River was utilized by the Elora Mill for a drawn out stretch of time. The Mill is under remodels and part of a renewal venture that will see retail and townhouses line the banks of the Grand. Pictures, similar to the one above, may not be conceivable in a couple of years unless from the window of one of these new homes.
