About Stony Plain
Stony Plain is a town in the Edmonton Capital Region of Alberta, Canada inside Parkland County. It is found west of Edmonton contiguous the City of Spruce Grove. Stony Plain is known as "The Town with the Painted Past" because of the measure of painted wall paintings around the local area. The town was initially known as Dog Rump Creek.
