About SS Bigwin
It is a little steamship ship that utilizes the waters of Lake of Bays in Muskoka territory of Ontario. The ship was worked by Polson Iron Works of Toronto as a private vessel for an American proprietor James Kuhn in 1910 as a yacht and named for his better half as Ella Mary. It was later sold to a few proprietors 1924, 1945 and 1960 to fill in as a ship pontoon and renamed Bigwin after Bigwin Inn and Chief John Bigwin.
In her last a long time of administration she moved clients to Bigwin Inn until the point that it was relinquished and submerged in a slip by Bigwin Inn from 1970s to 1991.
