About Saint Sauveur
Saint Sauveur is a town and region inside the Les Pays-d'en-Haut Regional County Municipality, Quebec, Canada. It is in the managerial district of Laurentides in the Laurentian mountains, situated around 60 kilometers north of Montreal. St-Sauveur is outstanding for its nearby ski regions, the greatest of which is Mont Saint-Sauveur. The ski regions showcase themselves mutually under the name of "Valley of Saint-Sauveur".
Its vicinity to Montreal, and its snow-production ability, evening time skiing, and apres-ski foundations make St-Sauveur a well known goal for skiers. The town was the youth home—from around 1946 to 1960—of Canadian performers Kate and Anna McGarrigle. On September 11, 2002 the city was made from the merger of the town of Saint-Sauveur-des-Monts and the area district of Saint-Sauveur. The present executive general is Jean Beaulieu. The city representative is Normand Patrice. Tourists come here from all over the world with their family members and friends.
