About Presquile Provincial Park

Presqu'ile Provincial Park is a recreation center. This recreation center involves a territory of 9.37 km2 3.62 sq mi. The name of the recreation center is the French word for landmass, or actually "nearly island", and was accepted to be named by Samuel De Champlain on his second expedition.citation needed The recreation center region was shaped when a limestone island was associated with the territory by a sand spit; this sort of arrangement is alluded to as a tombolo.
