About Peyto Lake
Peyto Lake is an icy mass nourished lake in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. The lake itself is effectively gotten to from the Icefields Parkway. It was named for Bill Peyto, an early trail guide and trapper in the Banff area.
Amid the mid year, critical measures of frigid shake flour stream into the lake, and these suspended shake particles give the lake a brilliant, turquoise shading. The lake is shaped in a valley of the Waputik Range, between Caldron Peak, Peyto Peak and Mount Jimmy Simpson, at a height of 1,860 m 6,100 ft.
Due to its brilliant shading, photographs of the lake regularly show up in represented books, and the zone around the lake is a famous touring spot for sightseers. The lake is best observed from Bow Summit, the most astounding point on the Icefields Parkway.
