Park national dOka

Stop national d'Oka isn't a long way from Montréal. This stop has a rich authentic and characteristic legacy. The Calvaire, with its four speeches and three sanctuaries, is a special complex of noteworthy structures in America. In Grande Baie and Rivière aux Serpents, land and water meet up to bring forth environmental gems: the wetlands. Winter and summer alike, the highest point of the Calvaire d'Oka trail gives a remarkable perspective of Lac des Deux Montagnes and the Adirondacks.

The Park has a region of 23.7 square kilometers 9.2 sq mi. It imparts an area to the districts of Oka, Saint-Joseph-du-Lac and Pointe-Calumet, which are all in the County of Deux-Montagnes territorial region and the locale of Laurentides. The Park incorporates shorelines and bogs found north of Lac des Deux Montagnes, and in addition the Calvaire d'Oka.
