About Outlook
Outlook is a town in west valuable Saskatchewan, Canada about 80 km south-southwest of Saskatoon. It is placed alongside the South Saskatchewan River downstream from Gardiner Dam and the Coteau Creek Hydroelectric Station. Settlement of the area began inside the early 1900s with farmers and immigrants moving into the place looking for farmland. Outlook officially started as a settlement on August 26, 1908 whilst the Canadian Pacific Railway started the public sale of plenty. On November 23, 1908 the residents of Outlook welcomed the first train which arrived from Moose Jaw. Within the month the CPR turned into walking a tri-weekly teach carrier wearing massive piles of lumber, but the deliver of people and materials changed into a ways outweighed by using the demand for extra homes.
The Outlook CPR Station building was constructed in 1909 and a 12 months later, on November 1, 1910, Outlook changed into officially d a city. In 1912 the Skytrail bridge crossing the South Saskatchewan River become completed, allowing both passenger and commercial site visitors to cross the river inside the vicinity for the primary time without the use of the ferry.Outlook & District Regional Park is situated alongside the South Saskatchewan River. It has 50 electrified campsites, an outdoor heated junior length Olympic swimming pool and paddling pool for toddlers, trekking trails and the nine-hollow Riverview Golf Course.
