Old Quebec

Old Quebec is a historic neighborhood of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Comprising the Upper Town and Lower Town, the area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Québec was founded by the French explorer Champlain in the early 17th century.It is the main North American city to have protected its bulwarks, together with the ious bastions, doors and cautious works which still encompass Old Québec.

The Upper Town, based on the bluff, has remained the religious and authoritative focus, with its houses of worship, communities and different landmarks like the Dauphine Redoubt, the Citadel, and Château Frontenac. Together with the Lower Town and its old locale, it shapes an urban outfit which is outstanding amongst other cases of a strengthened pilgrim city.
