Norwich

The Township of Norwich is a district situated in Oxford County in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. The cause of Norwich, Ontario, is more probable Norwich in Upper New York State, the territory from which the spearheading families emigrated in the mid nineteenth century, where the group was known as Norwichville. Oxford County Road 59 is the major north– south parkway through a great part of the township, including the group of Norwich appropriate.
The nearby economy is to a great extent horticultural, in view of corn, soybean, and wheat generation with dairy cultivating in the north piece of the township and tobacco, vegetable, and ginseng cultivating toward the south. Gradually, ginseng and conventional money crops are supplanting the previous money edit - tobacco, as request shrivels.
