Heber Down Conservation Area
About Heber Down Conservation Area
Heber Down Conservation Area is situated in Whitby, Ontario. It is situated inside the Lynde Creek waste bowl; it is a piece of the commonly noteworthy Heber Down Wetland Complex. The zone is made out of two sorts of wide territory units: a valley shaped by the stream and the Glacial Lake Iroquois shoreline.
The territory gives such recreational exercises as climbing, mountain biking, picnicking, and angling. The western parts of the zone are described by the steeply etched valley of the Lynde Creek. At places where it cuts over the sandy Lake Iroquois shoreline, groundwater leaks happen, giving a biological specialty to plants developing on the valley's dividers.
