Great Canadian Flag Project
About Great Canadian Flag Project
The Great Canadian Flag venture is based out of Windsor, Ontario. The undertaking incorporates the show of a mammoth Canadian banner in Dieppe Gardens at the convergence of Ouellette Avenue and Riverside Drive. Regarding size, the banner itself measures 18 by 9 meters and is moored on a 47.5 meter flagpole. The banner was authoritatively raised on May twentieth, 2017. This function happened in conjunction with the eleventh yearly Mayor's Walk in festivity of Windsor's 125th birthday celebration.
Despite the fact that it was not until 2012 that the Great Canadian Flag Project would authoritatively remove, the idea of having a vast Canadian banner in Dieppe Gardens was presented in 1980 by Thomas G.M. McDade.
