George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary

It is a guaranteed zone in Delta, and is a bit of the Fraser River estuary, relegated a site of Hemispheric Importance by the Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network.

The locale consolidates supervised wetlands, lowlands and obstructions. The 300-hectare 740-segment of land an area has ious walking trails, winged animal blinds, posts, and a gift shop. It has tenant settling goals for sandhill cranes, bald eagles, mallards, spotted towhees and ious others. Vagrants consolidate, lesser snow geese, more significant and lesser yellowlegs, since a long time back charged dowitchers, and western sandpipers. In excess of 250 species have so far been recorded in the refuge. The refuge is open year-round from 9 am to 4 pm close-by time.
