Gander are great town for visit. That town offered Cobbs Pond Rotary Park: a little stop situated on the northern edge of Gander. Conveniences include: outing region, washrooms, wharf, play area and a 3 km promenade trail. It is likewise the site of the town's yearly celebration, The Festival of Flight, which happens on the main Monday of August.
The site as of late revived with redesigns. Thomas Howe Demonstration Forest: an interpretive showing timberland found 2 km east of Gander on the Trans-Canada Highway. Pleasantries include: three strolling trails with interpretive boards, a cookout zone, washrooms and snowshoe trails.
The Old Town Site: wander through the bouleds of the old town site close Gander International Airport. Search for remainders of old building establishments, seats and interpretive boards. Newfoundland Trail way. The old Canadian National Railway that went through Gander has been produced for strolling, biking, snowmobiling and cross country skiing. A few areas between Cobb's Pond Rotary Park and the Old Town Site have been cleared.
