About Englishman River Falls Provincial Park

Arranged along the immaculate Englishman River north of Nanaimo, Englishman River Falls Provincial Park highlights two staggering cascades falling along the diving riverbed into a profound gorge. Local creatures must be on a rope consistently in the recreation centre. Residential creatures are not permitted on shoreline regions or in stop structures. Angling isn't allowed at Englishman River Falls Provincial Park.

This pleasant goal, set in the midst of a rich old-development and second-development woods of Douglas fir, cedar, hemlock and maple, is a perfect area from which to investigate and value the mind boggling decent variety of south focal Vancouver Island, including close-by Cathedral Grove, the Pacific Rim, and the sandy shores of Parksville and Qualicum.

The recreation centre has an extensive day-utilize region and campground and contains a few climbing trails that wind through the backwoods and along the waterway. Guests can expect fantastic perspectives en route, especially from two extensions that cross the stream where it dives down the tight shake gulch toward calmer waters underneath. The lower falls end in a profound completely clear pool – a perfect swimming opening in the mid year when stream levels are low and an extraordinary place to see producing salmon in the fall.
