About Ena Lake

Ena Lake is the name of a lake and an adjoining unincorporated zone and railroad point in Unorganized Kenora District in northwestern Ontario, Canada, around 23 kilometers 14 mi north of the city of Kenora. It is currently a little cabin network of roughly 50 occasional inhabitants and 11 all year occupants. Ena Lake is a run of the mill Canadian Shield lake, the shore is rough with numerous high edges and slopes, and the water is clear and cool. The significant inflows are Octopus Creek privately called "Ena Brook" from Octopus Lake and the MacFarlane River privately called "Corn Creek" from Corn Lake. The significant outpouring is the MacFarlane River, controlled by a little dam, underneath which one finds a rapids and falls. The MacFarlane River streams to the Winnipeg River.

Along these lines, the lake is in the Nelson River and Hudson Bay waste bowls. Ena Lake can be gotten to from Kenora through Ontario Highway 658, at that point Ena Lake street. It is on the Canadian National Railway cross-country primary line, between Minaki toward the west and Redditt toward the east, has a passing track, and is passed yet not served by Via Rail cross-country Canadian trains. It might likewise be come to by pontoon through the Winnipeg River and MacFarlane River, from which a short portage prompts the lake. Ena Lake is a well known beginning stage for kayak excursions to Vermillion Lake, Octopus Lake, and past.
