About Darlington Provincial Park
Darlington Provincial Park is a part of the Ontario Provincial Parks system. It is located just south of Highway 401 near the town of Courtice, between the cities of Bowmanville and Oshawa. A little park, the geography is overwhelmed by delicate slopes, a terminal moraine stored by ice sheets toward the finish of the last Ice Age. The recreation center fringes on the northern shore of Lake Ontario additionally encases McLaughlin Bay. The Bay is shallow, and eventually in the 1990s was totally cut off from the lake by the activity of the waves.
