Clyde River

Clyde River is an Inuit villa situated on the shore of Baffin Island's Patricia Bay, off Clyde Inlet, an arm of Davis Strait in the Qikiqtaaluk Region, of Nunavut Canada. It lies in the Baffin Mountains which thus shape some portion of the Arctic Cordillera mountain go. The people group is served via air and by yearly supply sealift. The people group is served by Quluaq School, the Northern Stores, a field, a network lobby, an Anglican church, a wellbeing focus, lodging and Clyde River Airport with ordinary flights to Iqaluit and Pond Inlet.

On July 23, 2014, the network of Clyde River arranged a challenge against the NEB's approval, and on July 28 the Hamlet of Clyde River, the Nammautaq Hunters and Trappers Organization of Clyde River, and Clyde River Mayor Jerry Natanine recorded a demand for a legal audit at Federal Court of Appeal. The legitimate case contends that the NEB's choice conflicts with the legislature of Canada's obligation to counsel with Indigenous Peoples under the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

Discussing the significance of the case, sacred legal counselor Nader Hasan, who is speaking to Clyde River, contended: "The government has a serious established commitment to definitively counsel and oblige the general population of Nunavut on any issues influencing their Aboriginal or arrangement rights. That didn't occur here. By and by, the NEB was an elastic stamp for the vitality business.
