About Central Memorial Park

Central Memorial Park otherwise called Memorial Park is Calgary's most seasoned stop and is situated in the core of the Beltline. Recognition Day functions are held here every year on November 11. Focal Memorial Park was redeveloped in 2009 and re-opened in 2010. View the video underneath that takes after the outline and recovery group as they endeavor to reestablish the authentic parts of this exceptionally old stop. The statue before the Memorial Park Library was raised in 1924 by the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire to respect the troopers who battled in WWI. The equestrian statue was raised as a tribute to all Albertans who battled in the Second Boer War.
