About Canadian Canoe Museum
The Canadian Canoe Museum is a historical center committed to kayaks situated in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. It was established as the Kanawa Museum, which was additionally called the Kanawa International Collection of Canoes, Kayaks and Rowing Craft, in 1957 by Kirk Wipper at Camp Kandalore, north of Minden, Ontario, when a companion gave Professor Wipper a burrow made around 1890. Throughout the years, the accumulation developed.
It was housed deficiently in wooden structures at Kandalore, and by the late 1980s it was winding up obvious that another home would be required. Wipper exchanged control of his notable gathering in 1994 to the association now called the Canadian Canoe Museum.
