About Canadian Automotive Museum
The Canadian Automotive Museum is an automobile museum located in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. The gallery highlights numerous Canadian-made autos as the car business, particularly the Canadian division of the General Motors, known as General Motors Canada, which has dependably been at the bleeding edge of Oshawa's economy. The exhibition hall was established in 1962 by a gathering of Oshawa specialists through the Oshawa Chamber of Commerce. The wander was started primarily to protect the car history of Canada and to show this history in an instructive and engaging way. Canadian Automotive Museum Inc is an altruistic partnership and has been in activity since 1963.
The exhibition hall is housed in a 25,000 sq ft 2,300 m2 working in downtown Oshawa that was initially the area of Ontario Motor Sales, a nearby auto dealership, in the 1920s. The building keeps up its unique period engineering directly down to the first lift used to move autos to the second floor. The Museum is partnered with: CMA, CHIN, and Virtual Museum of Canada. The Canadian Automotive Museum is open year-round and offers complimentary stopping in downtown Oshawa. With an assortment of neighborhood attractions, eateries and bistros inside strolling separation, the Canadian Automotive Museum is an extraordinary day trip from downtown Toronto.
