Cambridge

Cambridge was shaped in 1973 through the amalgamation of four separate towns. Accordingly, it turned into a city with heaps of history and appeal.

It is a socially rich city with parts to see and do. It is home to notable historic points, social attractions, and normal sights, making it speaking to all.

This city situated at the juncture of the Grand and Speed river in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, Southern Ontario, Canada.

It was formed in 1973 by the amalgamation of the Galt, Preston, Hespeler, the settlement of Blair and a small portion of surrounding townships.3 The first mayor of Cambridge was Claudette Millar.

According to a report in 2016, the population of Cambridge city was 129,920. The former Galt covers the largest portion of Cambridge, making up the southern half of the city.

As Cambridge has developed and the open spaces between the original municipalities have been filled in, a fourth commercial core, entirely modern in its construction, has emerged.
