About Beamer Memorial Conservation Area
Famous as the best vantage point in Ontario to watch the yearly spring bird of prey movement, Beamer Memorial Conservation Area posts bear the cost of the absolute most amazing and all encompassing perspectives of the Niagara Escarpment and Lake Ontario. In the spring look for bald eagles, turkey vultures and different flying creatures of prey taking off overhead. Walk the grand Lookout Trail and drench up the landscape from one of the numerous survey stages; you may even observe the fog from Niagara Falls, way off toward the east.
Feathered creature watch or meander through this delightful, upland hardwood woods trimmed with local blossoms in the spring. Along a portion of the trails search for witchhazel bushes blooming in the fall. Take amazing photos of the Niagara Escarpment, Lake Ontario, and the upper and lower falls of the Forty Mile Creek Valley along built up climbing trails. You will discover access to the Bruce Trail from here.
