About Banting House

Banting House National Historic Site of Canada celebrates an awesome Canadian revelation, as well as the life and vocation of Sir Frederick Grant Banting 1891-1941. Come commend the most essential medicinal revelation of the twentieth century and experience the life of the man you thought you knew.

Perpetual presentations include: London - the origin of insulin, Banting as the co-pioneer of insulin, craftsman and war saint, the Royal Visit and the Flame of Hope. This particular historical center known as "The Birthplace of Insulin" centers around the life and vocation, in the vicinity of 1891 and 1941, of Sir Frederick Grant Banting the co-pioneer of insulin and Canada's first Nobel laureate. Guests can appreciate guided visits and turning displays.
