About Art Gallery of Guelph
The Art Gallery of Guelph AGG, in the past the Macdonald Stewart Art Center, is an open display and connecting model stop in Guelph, at the intersection of Gordon Street and College Avenue. The AGG has a lasting gathering of more than 9000 works which is a focal point of research, distributing, instructive projects, and visiting displays. The AGG is a non-benefit beneficent association with three supporters: the University of Guelph, the City of Guelph, and the Upper Grand District School Board.
As the important open craftsmanship display serving Guelph and the encompassing area, the Art Gallery of Guelph, once in the past the Macdonald Stewart Art Center, was established as another social foundation to profit the expansive network. MSAC was built up in 1978 through a commonplace go about as a non-benefit magnanimous association. At the point when the exhibition formally opened as an open craftsmanship display on November 7, 1980, the University of Guelph guardian, Judith Nasby, was selected chief and keeper of the MSAC. Engineer Raymond Moriyama redesigned the noteworthy 1904 school working to make an open workmanship exhibition meeting global norms. In 1983, the Donald Forster Sculpture Park was set up on the 2.5 section of land site neighboring the building.
